Day 61 (March 2, 2010): Learning about water droplets

Ken's mom actually sent us this link in an email. It is kind of cool.....one of those little things about life that we would never know if we didn't have modern technology. It makes me wonder what else I don't know about our world.

  1. What a neat project! One of my sisters just directed me to your blog as I'm doing an experiment this year as well (February 2010-February 2011). My project is called "156 Things" www.156things.blogspot.com and I'm tackling three things each week (hence the 156) that take me out of my comfort zone. Is there a post you can direct me to which describes how your project came about? I'll keep checking back for more "newness!"

  2. Hi Joy,

We started this project on a whim. Over the Christmas hoidays we were visiting some family in Ontario. We were on a bit of a road trip and I was getting bored so I look at a children's book that belonged to my 4 year old nephew. The book was an alphabetized list of different places in Canada. For every letter of the alphabet there was a whole page of places and facts about them for that letter. When we got to the letter "t" it said something like "Toronto, the place where you can do a different thing every day". I believe it was Dec.30 or 31st so just as an aside comment I said to my husband "wouldn't that be a cool New Years Resolution, to do a different thing every day?" and he said "let's do it" so we did, and here we are now.....
