Day 27 (January 27, 2010): Motley Crue

Ken's sister wanted to help us out with our 365 challenge so she bought us tickets to the Motley Crue concert. She got a really good deal on them since she bought them the day before the concert. They were 2 for $10.00!! Motley Crue was awesome! The light show was pretty crazy and I was very happy that Tommy Lee pulled out the white grand piano for "Home Sweet Home" in the encore. Our seats were actually quite good given the price. They were up a bit high but we could see the whole stage really well. Airbourne, which is one of Ken's favourite bands, was the first opening act and they did great. Unfortunately neither Ken or I liked the next band. It was the Joe Perry Project and in my opinion they sucked! For those of you who don't know who they are, Joe Perry is the lead guitarist for Aerosmith. I really didn't care for his lead singer in The Joe Perry Project. As Ken said, "This project gets an 'F'"!
